Asst. Prof. Dr. Phiphat (Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University) ke mutabiq, asal mein kaala jadoo sirf toham parast aqeede ka naam nahi tha. Jab muashra jadeed daur mein daakhil hua aur sains ka ilm phaila, to logon ke nazariyat bhi tabdeel hone lage.
Dr. Phiphat wazahat karte hain ke:
“King Rama IV ke daur se pehle logon ka duniya ko dekhne ka andaaz aaj ke muqablay mein kafi mukhtalif tha. Us waqt toham parasti itni tang aur ghair aqli nahi samjhi jati thi. Kaala jadoo kisi raaz ya pur-asrar cheez ka naam nahi tha, balke yeh aik aisa mazhabi aur roohani yaqeen tha jismein ghaibi quwaton, mojzay, aur jadoo-tona ka tasawwur tha. Mantron ka parhna aur rasoomaat anjaam dena iska hissa hota tha. Thailand mein yeh maqami aqeedon ke sath bhi mil gaya tha.”
Aaj ke dor mein, duniya ko dekhne ka nazariya mukhtalif hai. Binary opposition ka usool science ko toham parasti ke baraks rakh deta hai — yaani sains aqalmandi aur haqeeqat ka rasta hai, jabke toham parasti ko be-aqli aur be-mani samjha jata hai. Isi liye kaala jadoo ko bhi ek “soya hua yaqeen” kaha gaya hai, jabke Budh Mat ko “bedari ka mazhab” samjha jata hai.
Kaala Jadoo Aur Insani Fikr
Falsafay ke professor, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kasem, ka kehna hai ke sains aur kaala jadoo insani soch ke do mukhtalif rang hain, lekin dono ek hi sochne ke tareeqay ke hissay hain.
“Toham parasti aik qisam ki danayi hai. Yeh insani soch aur yaqeen ka nizaam hai jo un cheezon ko samajhne ki koshish karta hai jo insaan samajh nahi sakta — jaise barish, bijli, ya qismet. Yeh humain duniya aur khud ko samajhne mein madad deta hai. Yeh mustaqbil ke sawalat, aur un masail ke jawab dene ki koshish hai jinhein hum theek nahi kar sakte. Aise aqeeday humein sochnay par majboor karte hain.”
Woh kehte hain ke:
“Jabke aaj ki modern duniya kaala jadoo ko sains aur Budh Mat ka mukhalif banati hai, insani zindagi aur roohaniyat ke maydan mein iska kirdar waisa hi hai. Aur aaj ke urban (shehri) society mein iska ahm kirdar aur barh gaya hai.”
Roohani Zarurat Aur Kaale Jadoo Ka Kirdar
Dr. Kasem ke mutabiq:
“Kaala jadoo insani yaqeen ka aisa nizaam hai jo humari zehni aur roohani zarurat ko pura karta hai. Yeh aik roohani warzish hai jo insaan ko is be-yaqeeni ki duniya mein zindagi guzarne ka hausla deti hai, usay mazboot banati hai, aur umeed se bhar deti hai.”
Sains Ka Jawab Aur Jazbaat Ki Kami
Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanya ka kehna hai ke aaj ke dor mein sains jawabat aur kai tarah ki haqaiq dikhata hai — magar sains ka aik pehlu aisa hai jise woh pura nahi kar sakta, aur woh hai insani jazbaat.
“Aaj ke insaan ke paas sains bhi hai, waqi haqaiq ka ilm bhi, magar kabhi kabhi asal sachai jazbaat ka jawab nahi ban sakti. Gham, umeed, aur tasalli — yeh woh cheezein hain jo sains nahi samjha sakta. Kaala jadoo, chahe woh aqal ke mutabiq na ho, magar woh dil ko sukoon deta hai.”

Kaala jadoo sirf toham parasti ka naam nahi — yeh insani roohaniyat, soch, aur jazbaat se juda hua aik yaqeen ka nizaam hai. Chahe woh sains ke maqool mayaar par pura na utre, lekin iska roohani aur jazbati asar aaj bhi logon ke liye maani rakhta hai.
